Our CF to ZIF adapter lets you install a Compact flash memory card in your iPod in place of your existing mechanical hard drive. The adapter is the same dimensions as a single platter 1.8″ iPod hard drive so can be used with a thin (or thick) rear housing without any modification. It is generally only economical to use a 64GB or smaller CF card, however the adapter does support larger capacities. We advise against using a CF to SD card adapter with this item as most are not compatible when used in the iPod.

Update: We currently advise for best value and performance to use one of our dedicated iPod SSDs available in a variety of capacities for the iPod Classic/Video.
