The LCD screen in the iPod Video is one of the most commonly damaged components. The 30GB, 60GB and 80GB versions all share the same LCD panel, there are no differences between the models.
Common problems with the iPod’s screen can include a broken or cracked LCD screen (after being dropped/hit etc.). Black circles can appear when too much pressure has been applied and the panel has a bleed. A damaged LCD cable can sometimes cause a white screen. Sometimes dead or stuck pixels (Black, White, Red, Blue, Green) can also appear on the display. These issues will be fixed with a replacement LCD.
If you have a broken or faulty LCD screen our repair service can fix your issue with the installation of a new part, contact us for more information.
