If your iPod won’t charge with your existing charger, connect it to a computer via USB cable and make sure the device is still charging. If it charges via the USB port does won’t work with your charger then you need to get one of our compatible chargers.

The Apple A1299 charger is a 5 watt, 3 pin wall plug with a USB type A connector that will let you charge your iPod from the mains. Pair this charger with a USB cable and you’re ready to recharge your device.

Please note, the A1399 looks identical but is not compatible, with the iPod, it is an iPhone charger which will not charge your iPod.

• Thin batteries (550mAh) are found in the Apple iPod Video 30GB, this model is slimmer than the larger capacity versions.
• Thick batteries (850mAh) are used in the 60GB and 80GB. The larger hard drives in these models required a thicker back cover, creating space for a larger battery than the 30GB.
