iPod Touch 7th Generation

The latest and current model Touch (A2178) launched 2019 maintaining the same form factor and similar design to the previous model, but features some updated internal hardware. The device offers the largest storage capacity offered by Apple on an iPod (256GB).

iPod Touch 6th generation

Launched in 2015, the A1574 6th generation iPod Touch features a design not completely dissimilar to its predecessor. It was the first iPod Touch with a 128GB option which was improved upon further by its replacement. The 6G supports iOS 12 and runs on an underclocked A8/M8 64 bit hardware profile.

iPod Touch 5th Generation

Released by Apple on September 12th, 2012 in a range of colours, the 5th generation Touch was originally only available in 32GB and 64GB options. A 16GB model was introduced the following year without a rear camera, loop button or all colour options. The limited 16GB model was later replaced by an upgraded 16GB version that had all the same features as the 32GB and 64GB versions.

iPod Touch 4th Generation

The 4th generation of the iPod Touch was launched by Apple in 2010. Over its lifetime it was produced in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB & 64GB models in both Black and White. It was the first iPod Touch to with a camera; it features a front camera (0.3MP) and rear (0.7MP) camera that can also capture video at 720p.
