If you’ve damaged the battery connector on the bottom corner of the logic board when opening your device we can repair it for you by soldering a replacement. It’s important to check all five solder pads are still in place on the logic board as it’s not uncommon for these to strip away and damage the trace. If there is any damage get in touch in advance.

We can repair your iPod and install a new replacement battery connector clamp to the iPod Classic or Video, covering all models of the A1238; 80GB, 120GB & 160GB (6th and 7th generation) or the A1136 30GB, 60GB & 80GB (5th generation).
