This small clamp connects the battery cable to the logic board on both the iPod Classic & iPod Video.

It is located on the bottom right-hand corner of the board and is easily broken off if you’re not careful when opening the iPod.

The connector has 5 solder points and is made of two pieces of plastic.

The battery connector does require soldering to install. If you have damaged or broken your connector our repair service will fix your board with the installation of a replacement battery connector, contact us for more information.
